Most of them are dimension 20 compilations but FINALLY someone has dropped a decent length comp from the most recent season of game changer which I ADORED. special mention to Lisa Gilroy’s Sam Reich diss track.

Hayley Williams performing ‘true believer’ on jimmy fallon

This song has had me in a chokehold from my very first listen. The lyrics hit like a punch square in the face and I’ve been absolutely hooked. Her performance on jimmy fallon was absolutely no different. If you haven’t seen it, you gotta do yourself and go and watch it.

this weeks episode of ‘good hang’ ft. Rachel Dratch

as a fan of both SNL and Amy Poehler, her podcast felt like it was tailored to suit my interests, and has been a beacon of joy throughout my week, every week without fail. When I saw Dratch was gonna be on this weeks episode, I just KNEW it was going to be good and it absolutely did not disappoint.

bandsplain is BACK baby

after having a few months off and after the britpop season, my fave podcast is back with what I think is going to be a glam/hair metal season, with the season kicking off with an ep about Mötley Crüe. I’m typically not a fan of glam metal or MC, but I can listen to an episode about literally any band, simply because I enjoy how Yasi tells their stories.

the new john candy doco - “i like me”

this was genuinely one of the most heartfelt documentaries I’ve seen all year, and I absolutely adored seeing what his former cast members and friends had to say about him and seeing the extent of his legacy. It was really well made and I think I probably spent the last half hour crying through it. 5/5.

rolling stone’s ‘250 greatest songs of the 21st century so far’

I wrote about this at length, but now having listened to it properly, it has been genuinely fascinating seeing what has made the list and speculating about other choices that could have been made. It’s good to put on as background music whilst at work, and has also been great to put on for extended trips in the car.
